03/19/2007: "Greymatter version 1.7.2.3 hotfix available for download"

A hotfix to be applied on top of the latest 1.7.2 release of the Greymatter weblog software has been released this evening. The fix is to correct a performance issue found during a site rebuild after installing version 1.7.2. The new GreyMatter 1.7.2.3 download should be used for all new installations and for upgrades unless you have already upgraded to version 1.7.2. In this case simply extract the gm-library.cgi file and replace the original one. This is summarised as:

Installing from scratch - use complete 1.7.2.3 install
Upgrading from 1.7.1 and below - use complete 1.7.2.3 install
upgrading from 1.7.2 - copy the gm-library.cgi from 1.7.2.3 and replace the one installed with 1.7.2
